Hello everyone. Day 6 of the antibiotics and I'm feeling vaguely human.
Had an appointment at the hosp this morning and had a camera up my nose and down my throat. I am responding well to treatment, and that's all there is to it. Everything looked fine.
I phoned work and spoke to the boss and said I will be in on Wednesday. He was a bit grumpy, but that's what bosses do?!?
I am going to get up early tomorrow and try and do a few basics, and then just take it slowly.
MIL slipped over yesterday and has broken her leg. DH is going to go and see her after work on Thursday and come back on Saturday. Hex and juliejim, I think he is going to meet me at bridgemere, along with this lady he used to work with and her DH. He doesn't want to cancel as she has been very poorly having chemo and is looking forward to it. Anyway, that means that I have Thursday and Friday night without DH so I will get loads [STRIKE]watched on the tv[/STRIKE] of flying done
You see my sense of humour is returning - i am better
Thank you all for your kind words. I look forward to flying with you tomorrow.

Flying wise, I've done a silent 27 fling boogie in the classroom, and the cleaners commented on how tidy the classroom was when they went in there, so I'm in their good books which is nice. They both seem lovely (I'd say they were in their 60s or older - not sure if they're a married couple or not though).

Starting to feel human (should really go to bed in the hope that it will last!) and have been working at some frogs. Fingers crossed I will actually start to get work underway on my bathroom next month, and possibly even get the windows painted...
My next door neighbour's son owes her £30, so has been given the opportunity to pay the debt off with 6 hours labour for me... so I am busy compiling a list of jobs... mowing, tidying edges, raking the gravel, washing the car, possibly clearing out, cleaning and tidying the shed too... hedge trimming and weeding are a possiblity, but I'm not sure how safe they are for a teenager. Maybe he can do the hedge at the back
I wonder what else I can find for him to do :cool:0 -
Thanks Toots, there is still stuff up there but only stuff I want to keep and it looks 100 % better, I will try and do pics in the morning xx0

You are right about frog list - the things you have been putting off recently.
Thank youI will try to check in at least a couple of times a week then, I know what you mean about feeling "obliged" to do it though, I am a regular on the DFW "small things" thread which helps keep me on the straight & narrow! Although sometimes things do roll over for days
I will make a start on my frog list tomorrow, but am pleased that I have at least done what I set out to do!

AARRRRGGGGGHHHHHh
Monday disappeared faster than I had hoped and the only housework I've done is washed up twice and put shopping away! Where it has gone I don't know and I know tomorrow will disappear as well. Flying is going to have to wait until Wednesday as I have to work tomorrow both in school and preparing/putting out books! I'll have to do a HHI though, as DD needs her Brownies uniform and its still in the ironing pile - would have helped if she'd put it in the wash straight after wearing it rather than put it on the stool in her room where it got buried for a week )
I'm headed for bed after getting DDs blouse, my jeans and I think I need a t-shirt as well, for work/school tomorrow. Need to write myself a list as I need to remember the fruit salad for work.
