I'm thoroughly ashamed to say, I just buried my head in the sand, and enjoyed Xmas and New Year.

I'll get my SOA done asap and hopefully go from there...

Well you have admitted it now, time to draw a line under it and move on.

Personally I can't think of a worse time to start trying to get out of debt than Christmas, quite frankly, but hooray, it's all over now! Don't beat yourself up too much about it because you came back to this site, right? You want to get out of debt, right?

So there's a good couple of points for starters.

Get that SOA whacked up here ASAP and let everyone start to guide you and help you. You *can* make a difference even if it seems insurmountable now. It isn't.

With all due respect we need to hold back on what look like, assumptions, of that nature until we see an SOA. I think the OP has probably realised now that the SOA is the first thing to do now before we can go any further.

not at all. I badly want to decorate, I have a boring car (and cars are my LIFE!!!), and we don't go on holidays. We do though, like to eat out now and again, and have a fair few takeaways.. Yes, they have now stopped!!!
