    I think your planned system will struggle with 500W particularly if you want to o/c. I'd be interested to see what result you get.

    Take a look at the benchmarks for the NH-D14. Best air cooler there is and will outperform the H70 under load (providing you put it in a case with good airflow)

    I'll check it out, that site is sponsored by a lot of companies, so it always posts the best results for theirs.

    Companies like anandtech do tests on the hardware itself and powerdraw isn't as high as people think

    I'll look them over anyway especially that cooler. Case will be either a HAF 912 or HAF 932

    EDIT : ermmm, jesus christ no wonder it cools so well. You'd need a case big enough to hold the thing
