Thank you for your help. We have now got our money back from Cheshire Bears.
For anyone who wants Webkinz I found a company on ebay the seller goes under the name of cluedupcollectit, who I would recommend as I ordered two webkinz on Saturday and received them yesterday, excellent service from them.

Sorry I did not realise I was spamming a ebay username.
I was just so impressed with the service that the person gave that I thought others who had the same problems as I have had getting these goods would be interested to know that the person on ebay was excellent.

No it is not me.

As I stated I had had trouble with Cheshire Bears and went on the internet to ebay and found the gentleman concerned who had good feedback, so I ordered the webkinz and the service I received was great ordered and delivered within 4 days. I just thought the person who runs the company deserved a pat on the back for excellent service.

The toys in question were presents for my grandchildren and they were very upset at not being able to get them within the month as promised by Cheshire Bears. We did get our money back from them but only after a lot of hassle and the threat of a police and trading standards investigation.

Never heard back from Cheshire Bears, but my credit card company just reclaimed the trasaction and it has now appeared as a credit on my statement. They told me that either they will hear no more from this company in which case I get to keep my money or the company may query why I reclaimed the money in which they will have to justify why they should get the money back.

I thought it would be appropriate to reply to this thread.

Firstly, we have never ever knowingly witheld any money from any customer. We appreciate that we have not delivered adequate levels of service for which we are sorry and are working to improve this.

We set this up as an intenet only business but clearly a lack of phone number has frustrated some of you-it isn't because we have anything to hide.

Whowever posted my home number has done nothing but upset my wife who has know knowledge abaout the site what so ever.
