Cheshire bears/ Catherine Healy Toys

Options
Any other MSEs used either "www.cheshirebears.co.uk" which appears to be the internet site for Catherine Healey Toys?

My wife ordered some beanies from it over a month ago and to date no sign of the goods. Allegedly all the ordered items are in stock but she's had no replies to her emails.

Although the website says to call them if you'd like to meet them in person, there's no telephone number listed & I can't find it on bt.com either.

Any suggestions?

Thanks again, my wife spoke to the lady running this yesterday who claimed it was all down to an admin error as her husband orders the beanies from US. She promised to resolve by Friday.

  • YES! Tried to purchase from CHESHIRE BEARS in Congleton ( Catherine Healy Toys) one month ago- appeared on credit card statement but no confirmation or goods sent No response to several E Mails Phone not being answered... the usual.
  • ME TOO! Ordered 2 webkinz bears for the children from CHESHIRE BEARS online. I received an automated email confirmation when I purchased well over a month ago and the fee appeared on my credit card. I have not yet received any goods and have emailed them twice now with no response. Thankfully I only spent £20. Not sure what to do next??? Any ideas anyone???
  • Have you rang them on the above number?

as you used a credit card let them know and they will refund you and fight the company to get there money back
If you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter ;)
  • I ordered items, on 15th October, and paid by Paypal. So far I have had 1) no acknowledgement of order, 2) no acknowledgement of payment, 3) no reply to the 5 emails I have sent to their two email addresses.

I have opened Dispute Resolution through Paypal but am mightily cheesed orf!

I emailed yesterday citing my Paypal Dispute Resolution claim and have received a full refund today.:j
  • So looks like they can reply to emails when it suits them. I have contacted my credit card company CapitalOne who are sending me a dispute resolution claim form. Hopefully I'll get somewhere with this as well.
  • We have had the same problem with this company ordered in September and 45 days later we were still awaiting either the goods or a refund.
We emailed them 3 times but received no reply.
I then emailed them with the subject 'reporting to trading standards' and
surprise they replyed within 10 minutes, there excuse was that the goods were going to be sent out that day, but because of the email they had cancelled the dispatch and were refunding our money which we still have not received in the bank. We are now taking it to trading standards
I would advise people not to touch this firm with a bargepole.
