I think i may have to bite the bullet if the trial thing doesnt work.
Since i did a wipe/install from factory disks there would be no trace of office on this system, office 2003 yes but not 2007.

office 2007 has never touched the operating system... since i wiped it and reinstalled windows... i already know how to retrieve keys, thanks anyway.0 -
well my plan worked, i had a copy of office 2007 standard, the trial asked for my key and straight away accepted it and is installing standard instead of trial.

its on my flash drive right now as i dont have a burner, but i have linked to the file in the google document, it was about 200MB something so in this day and age its about 20 minutes download time... not a big deal imo0
