Hi all,

I had a copy of office 2007, I lost the CD during a move and i cant remember whether it was student/standard/pro/small business etc

I kept the key on google docs but in my infinite wisdom i didnt think to put the type of office 2007 on the document.

my question is this, is it possible to find out the office version just by the key?

I had the idea of downloading a copy of office 2007 trial and updating it with the key to unlock whatever version it should be... but im not even sure if this is possible.

thoughts anyone?
