Evening everyone

Does anyone else have difficulty in get the top off the Spam - pull up the ring, bend it back and the top should pop according to the instructions.

However for me - pull up the ring bend it back and pull but nothing!! Getting stressed now use a cloth still cant get it off:mad:, tried a tin opener but still couldnt do it :mad::mad:. Ask adult son if he can do it, yep you guessed he pulled and off came the ring:mad:, son tried with tin opener and eventually got into the tin and left it on the side. Back to me - turned it upside down and shook it above a plate, no luck, shaking furiously again, still nothing, took a knife and poked it in the tin all around the sides and at long last out it popped.

Moral of the story, am grateful for free spam but wont be purchasing again.

I think the idea is that you burn off all the calories trying to open the tin so that you can then eat the contents guilt free :rotfl:

My Sainsburys only had 6 packs on the shelf. I got 2 to see if the glitch worked and it did, so went back in and asked if there was any in the back. A very nice lad came out with 3 x 6 packs, so I got 24 x 4 bottles of smirnoff ice at £1.44 for each. :j:j:j Guess that will soon get rid of my cold or I won't know I've got it when have drunk them all:D

Just spotted that I have a voucher for free entry to the subscriber lounge for the GFS. Also £1 off at Olive deli at GFS. If anyone wants them, I can post them tomorrow and hopefully they will arrive in time for anyone going on Sunday.

Blue isn't tecchie (understatement;)) but worth trying.

I believe both laptops are on the same IE but could be wrong!
I have now installed firefox though and got a cravendale coupon. :j

Hmm when I moved from my chair to check coupon I realised it had only printed the top inch of the cravendale one??? How random - still waiting for codes to try and print the rest!

You don't have to use coupons to chat on here, I haven't been shopping (except 5 mins to Sains tonight) since Friday. Not sure what it says about me when I get outta bed for cheap booze:o:o:o
