Hi everyone, I'm late again, not feeling too well again, and annoyed with myself for it. So frustrating.

Poor you PM with toothache; there seems to be lots of people going through the same, whats happening?!

Blue, the recycling place is the local tip...they sell off most of the things that people throw away, which is very sad because people's lives arrive in boxes and bags some with photos still in the frames, but amazing for those like me who don't mind buying. All very cheap, some things are brand new...from furniture to small cups...many retro items. Loads of people go there and I guess we are all looking for that elusive item that will make us a fortune too! I've only just discovered it, and can't believe I've ignored it for the last year!

Bully you are my inspiration regarding comps; I need to start again. I did really well the first year I tried, was amazed, but did enter quite a few, all on MSE, but only those I wanted or could give to people. I imagine their faces which is huge fun. I did win 12 boxes of After Eights, (that's why I couldn't face any on DTD, I haven't eaten any since!) and included 4 tumblers, 4 wine glasses (very good quality), 4 slate coasters, and 4 silver t light holders by a well known brand. Another prize was 2 tickets to see David Essex in All the fun of the fair! Then umpteen koalas, so won't be entering that one again! This year I've entered off and on but absolutely nothing, but I'm always optimistic so will start again, thanks to you.

Thanks for mentioning the mozzies, I was thinking of that last night and couldn't remember the names! Need to write it down!

Like Aesop, if I find a MOC will post on coupon thread, but not very good at finding them so not sure how long it will be.

    xxxx

Can anyone think of how to get rid of a pesky fly. I think its got magic wings as everytime we swat it, it appears somewhere else.

Had it in the house for 2 days now and I must have bashed it 100 times and it still gets away.

Get one of those "electric shock" racquets (sp?)...:D

you can get citronella tealight candles to burn or there are some chemical/aerosol free insect repellents that contain citronella.
