Blue - I have washed trainers in the washing machine. I put them in a laundry bag, you know, the net ones. I also put a towel in the washing machine otherwise it gets a bit noisy. I wash them on a warm wash with normal soap powder. When washed I tie the laces together and hang them on the washing line.
I don't bother to stuff them with paper, but remember doing that as a child when we got our shoes soaking wet.
Just gonna pop onto the coupon thread!!!!!!!

We are hoping to go back to Gambia In Dec for 2 weeks (been saving £20 a week since Jan) as we enjoyed it so much last year on the comps win holiday last Dec. The only thing we didn't enjoy was getting bitten though.
is it mozzies Blue?
I can HIGHLY recommend Avon's Skin so soft dry oil body spray ORIGINAL
this stuff really works, it contains Citronella which insects like mosquitoes do not like the smell of, so it keeps them away. you only need a small amount. You spray it on your arms, and spread all over, as is oil based. then your legs, etc, any part of you that is exposed.
Buy it when it is cheap, ie £2 or bogof.
currently online for £2, there might be some free delivery codes knocking around or you can find a rep local to you to order from. PM me if you want more info.

yes she told us about that didn't she. put in a spray bottle and then spray the area around you and it will stop them coming near you.
wonder if it contains citronella too.
ah it has eucalyptol and this is similar to a lemon smell too, when you break down its composition. Explains why they stay away.0 -
BTW my abbreviation is A0

putting paper in the trainer, after washing or when its in the wash? Never done that before. Also why pillow case?
put paper in after to help dry and put in washing machine in pillow case to prevent laces getting tangled in drum.

Can anyone think of how to get rid of a pesky fly. I think its got magic wings as everytime we swat it, it appears somewhere else.
Had it in the house for 2 days now and I must have bashed it 100 times and it still gets away.
