If anyone is looking for a nice wee investment I can recommend https://www.equityforpunks.com. Own your own part of BrewDog brewery and bars, a small, but getting larger independent brewery that is taking on the main players, and winning. :)

Hey thrifty, great idea, of course if you're feeling extr generous you could send them to me :j due in 8 1/2 weeks so have been trying to stock up!!!

on another note i know you're all DYING to know how i got on at mr t's today... well i was really chuffed to find that my £71 shop got knocked down to £36.50, i am soooooo chuffed, got lots of 'luxury' items, (sweeties and crisps etc) as i got a bit fed up buying value everything so managed to get dr pepper free, toblerone free, 4 boxes of whiskas for £2.28!!! (i'm really impressed with that) used a morrisons £6 off £50 a till spit for £7 off £50 and the £5 off £40 tesco MOC in the paper, really i am so delighted. I lurk a fair bit nowadays as i am sooo busy during the day and at night i have enough energy to look and then post the occassional line or two, and then fall asleep!!!

it's not going to change either as i'm taking 2 weeks off after baby comes along and then straight back into it as i'm self employed and can't afford to take anymore time off!!! lucky me

so in the meantime i'm doing my best to save save save, wish i had kept the details of how much i've saved since joining this site, but it has been £100s so thanks everyone, alot of it's down to u guys as i don't look at the coupon thread since u all left, but do nip in occassionally.

anyway that's my random drivel, boy it was alot!!!:T[/QUOT\\
Hi and good luck with baby, thats all I am hearing at the mo, must be time of year:) A question please. Is the till spit the ones that come off the till with your receipt, and are you saying that on say a £50 shop, you could use a tesco £3 off £50 spend, AND a £2 off £40 spend from an Asda coupon as well, making £5 off the total! Theres so much to take in with what you can and cant do! Thanks

    Hi Anika

Occasionally you can fall lucky with your SA and use 2 or maybe 3 conditional spend coupons or till spits at a time.

Yes, a till spit is the bit of paper the till spits out with your receipt.

So, for example, if you have a £2 off a £20 Sainsburys till spit or conditional spend coupon, and a £3 off a £30 Tesco till spit or conditional spend coupon, what you should do is spend £50 to use both.

But..... some SA's allow you to use both. You would spend say, £30, hand over the £3 till taking the bill to £27 and then hand over the £2 one reducing your bill to £25. Then, you hand over any other coupons you have to reduce the bill even further.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi all
Just a hello really. Sorry I've been lurking for a while :o. I've had some bad news. I've not felt great so kept to myself. My chemo has been stopped and whilst I need more my consultant says the risk of the recent complications mean I am better off with the leukemia than chancing an infection they cannot treat. I have to wait until my health deteriorates sufficently to tip the balance to being better of chancing the chemo. Feel in limbo - but I'm alive and I can do quite a lot. Not feeling very grateful which isn't something I'm proud of. Sorry I'm moaning - I just needed to 'speak' about it.
