I went shopping last week, to use up my love2shop voucher i have. I found a nice coat i liked on the peacock website, went into said shop, and didn't see one coat

I then went in tj hughes....... nothing there. A trip in tk maxx was next to look at all the cheap coats i saw on their website, browsing the coats, which to me looked like mens!, i saw one costing £149, again a . A trip to Bhs, i saw one i liked but they have just a size 16, and that wouldn't fit me :o, retreating out of there, now rather warm and flustered, it was off to debenhams, where it was huge, and my dad ended up getting lost, and for some reason didnt use the esculator, but used the stairs, which he said were for the basement :rotfl:. So then we went home for a cup of tea :D

Love2shop voucher is still in my purse. Now the kids are off school i think i'll wait 6 weeks, lol. before i go looking again, to which time it'll be winter, and this thin coat i was looking for wont be needed, and i'll end up wearing my big warm one :o

:hello:Good Evening. I went on my first coupon trip for 3 weeks today and it was worth waiting for:D
First I went to morrisons with my £5 off £40 which thanks to my sis and another pal:T:T I had 4 of. I knew that I would only be using 3 of them (2 in Tesco and one in Morrisons), so I looked out for an old couple with a fair bit in their basket and gave them my spare one. I then went to get 5 Tassimo coffees and went looking for the weightwatchers pots. The first place I saw one was the reduced section, a lonely one was shouting out to me to take it for 29p:j:jthen I went to the proper section and bought the rest. I had a nice SA at the till who put through my £5 and Tassimo coupons, but when it came to the ww ones she scanned it (when did Morrisons start scanning coupons, they used to just put the price in?) then called for the supervisor. I think she noticed that they were going through at £2.50 when they were only £2.37. As we were chatting and waiting the old couple came over to thank me for the £5 coupon I gave them. The SA listened and I explained I had given them my spare voucher. She then started scanning the ww coupons and put her light out:j:jThere was £2.77 left to pay and she said "shame you haven't another of them WW ones, to which I said oh I have and gave it to her", so 27p left to pay. Think that is what you call karma:beer:
I have avoided morrisons for ages cos it was so much hassle with coupons until today.
I then went to Tesco and Asda and used a few coupons, all with no problem. Isn't it great when everything goes smoothly. :j:j
I hope everyone else has had a good day.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Thanks MT. Yes great hols except for a problem with returning the hire car. I will post on the hire car thread and put a link to it here in the next day or so as I need to warn others about a scamming car hire company:(:(
