no not tried them yet BW, sounds like they would be worth a try at least.
still abit headachy this morning, to much pc use i expect :rotfl:

Have you ever tried Kool and Soothe forehead patches for your migraines? Blue has been buying them since they have been out which is a couple of years and they are brill. Obv not a headache cure, but they are better than the dripping wet flannel I used to use:o
http://www.kobayashihealthcare.co.uk/Kool-N-Soothe They can be found in tesco/asda/boots etc, but I have never found a coupon for them unfortunately, but it is one of the few things I am willing to pay full price for;)[/QUOTE]

Good neighbours are the best, look after them and appreciate them whilst you have the chance...lost mine a about 1 year ago, new peeps in house now and they are having lots of work done....yesterday the sitting room carpet that my old neighbour loved , was thrown into the skip...it was about 4 years old and cost an awful lot of money, I helped her choose it and she was thrilled with it...she had thought long and hard about spending so much on the carpet at her age but decided' you can't take it with you'....I do realise it was prob not to their taste...they are having a wooden floor laid, but it just seemed such a waste to see a high quality Axminster thrown away ....

It's always a bit of an unknown when you get new neighbours isn't it. None of our nearest neighbours have changed for 10 years

aww...Bully you are not a very eco-friendly neighbour are you?

You should have said - oh, may I have it please instead of chucking it into the skip that will go nicely with my new TV and if any of me friends visit me they can sleep on the carpet:D:D:D:rotfl:

I was going to have a word with them about it, could have used some on the garage wall, we have some underlayed fixed to the wall so as not to scrape the edge of the car door when we open it, but the bloke came at 7am this morning to collect the skip...heard him bumping and banging and was too late by the time I'd got up to see what was happening

No need to sleep on the floor if you visit , got a spare bedroom....the bed will be ever so soft and comfy for you...it's covered in 'Velvet';););)

Oh what I shame RM...hope your back doesn't spoil your first day...when you start it that is....
I remeber being told by the head mistress at my old school...she invited us one by one into her study the day we left to give us some invaluable careers advice...I shall pass it on to you all ....always have a leather handbag to match polished shoes, with low kitten heels/ladder free stockings/very little make-up /freshly washed hair and clean gloves when you start your first job...remember to remove one glove and place it neatly in your other gloved hand , before you shake your new bosses/colleagues hands prior to commencing work. She was an advocator of 'lyle 'stockings, but did appreciate that things had moved on and a non too fine denier would surfice.Ah!!! the good old days....actually she was absolutely correct about the heels....I wore high heels and on my very first day the boss looked at my footwear and commented that she thought they were quite unsuitable for the wooden office floor and also for walking through the railway yard, luckily she approved of the flat shoes I had brought along with me ....my first job was in a 'computer room' working for British Railways( as it was then) and the offices were at the far end of the railway yard, every morning I had to walk through the 'plant works buildings' where steam engines and coaches were built...in Doncaster. The computer room housed computers that were as big as large vans....
