    Cushelle Toilet Tissue White (9) @ £4.88 @ Asda.

If it is me :- I would buy from Asda then get 10% APG.

    Tesco £3.50

    Asda magazine 50p voucher + FB printable 50p = -£1.00 less £4.88 = 3.88

    APG : 4.88 less £3.50 = 1.38 + 10%

I am really thinking of making some nappy cakes to sell . NicolaM i think posted about it and it got me thinking, does anyone think there is any money to be made here do you think? x

    Not advisable me think.
    1) Hygiene ( I won't buy nappies that are already opened) be it from smoke or non-smoking household.
    2) most mum-to-be or new mums knows where to get free starter kits, signing up pampers & huggies etc via their mid-wife. Vouchers send to them directly.
    3) Royal Mail postage has gone up the roof.
    4) Will you make money? possibly say £1? Is it worth it? your time/ fuel/packaging:A

It could MT, but then that is Tesco against Asda list. Got to go Tesco to buy it for £4ish less £1.00 = £3.00 .

Price checked refund £2.00 so we are paying only £1.00 only work if you are buying the stuff using JTD & not paying much for your total groceries.

I had so many of them the last time it could last me at least 2 years.

Ps you deleted your post no wonder I cud not quote it.

  • RonniesMummy - your neighbour sounds horrible, you've hit the nail on the head saying it would be taken more seriously if it was a younger guy doing that to you. Sending you ((((((((hugs)))))))

I actually shouted at an old lady a few months ago who was being horrible to me (I stopped her from walking across the road without looking just as OH was reversing the car). I felt rotten about it for ages until someone pointed out that age does not warrent respect! Have since heard her being horrible to others - she lives nearby - and have spoken up for someone, but nicely that time.

Now what's been happing on the other thread, has the troll message been deleted? Could do with a big red rubber stamp across the whole post 'Caution: Here be Trolls'.

I shouted at him too once, he was bad mouthing me to a neighbour over the fact we offered to knock down our party wall that was falling down and replace it, no cost to him!
He called me a 'nutter' and said all sorts of mean stuff that i didnt think old people could say (maybe i am naive because my grandparents are lovely people and never swear or be rude to anyone!) I just shouted he was a nasty man and cried for about 5 days (i was v depressed at the time, so someone calling you a nutter does not help!)
Anyway, just goes to prove not all old people are sweet and nice, theres a small minority that are horrible!

Dr who, thank you for the tips, really useful :D:D

The OH is buying me a takeaway tonight, wonder what he is after!! :rotfl:
