Morning all, nice to see a few more peeps finding there way here...no argumentative posts allowed, I brought my basket of fish over here with me...this is the 'feel good drivel thread' ...you can have a moan about life in general or how bad you are feeling and that will generate 'hugs'...but no dreadul posts like those that BT/MT and CW have responded to with dignity and common sense....
So to move on....wish I was at the Grand Prix today...didn't win any tickets though and am too mean to pay the extortionate amount they are asking to sit on a muddy grass bank , so will watch from the comfort of my recliner ....lost 3 lbs of my Wimbledon Wobblybits...starting point for another 3lbs loss ....breakfast and extra long walk for me now....0 -
Morning everyone,
Pretty grey here in the Black Country. Hope it brightens up and stays dry for the Grand Prix, tho I suppose it can get more interesting with a drop of rain!
Have a good Sunday one and all.0 -
In extra good mood today...better than a win for me:j....A few years ago I won a holiday to Sandals St Lucia,:D it was a superb holiday and I manged to persuade the promoters to allow me to take the holiday outside of the dates specified to celebrate my birthday there.Sandals reward visitors with necklaces according to how many activities they join in with...if you did something everyday at the end of your stay and got enough points you would get the starter one which is a long necklace with a pair of 'sandals'( naturally) on the end made of leather..when you visit 4/5 years on the trot you get 'silver' and after that 'gold...I was chatting to the manager and asked if I could buy one , but was told they are def never, ever sold, they have to be earned...I told him I was too old for beach volleyball and some of the other things and doubt I would ever qualify, although I had scuba dived and spent my birthday on the bottom of the Caribbean...the following morning after breakfast when I returned to my room there were 2 leather necklaces and some flowers on my pillow courtesy of the manager...I gave one of them to a lovely young woman who along with her husband we had met there and although staying at a different Sandals hotel , had spent a lot of time with...you could add small beads to them as well , each hotel having different coloured ones...so we both had 2 different beads added to ours...we wore them all the time and when I got home it it was always round my neck.I went to M&S about 2 years ago and had been in the changing room trying on various things. it was very very hot and I know I rushed to get out of the confined space to make my purchase and get home.It was then I realised I had lost my necklace...I contacted the store, but no luck......since I won the TV for my bedroom I had to move the furniture around, and as my wardrobes are full to bursting decided to sort stuff out for the charity shop...it was then I saw it on the bottom of my wardrobe....it must have been taken off with whatever I had been wearing and fallen there ....I am soooo thrilled to have it back, not only as a reminder of a fantastic win ( the holiday was worth £5000) but it's really a lovely thing to wear, especially with casual clothes......so one very happy peep here going out for a belated walk wearing it :j:j:j...( late now 'cos hubby has taken ages to get organised...)0

don't feed trolls or troublemakers people. best thing, otherwise threads get closed and stay closed.
anyway, quick question, can I use more than one Asda APG in one shopping expedition, ie have in total £3.xx in vouchers, can I hand them all over with my shopping and they take them, or will it have to be 4 individual shops, as have 4 vouchers.
goto run, off to a local show.
thanks in advance people0 -

The most ive used in one transaction was 2, but i dont think it would be a problem if you read the t&cs on the website it states you can use more than one per transaction, i guess its open to debate mind, as long as you dont take the mick im sure it will be fine

Does anyone want a horrible nasty old man neighbour?
I need to move he seriously is the worst man ive ever known, hes about 70 and he is evil, he currently has his car parked over my drive, on purpose and wont move it just stands there sniggering at me, cos he knows the OH isnt here.
Then he throws stones at my cats, and dog, and chucks his rubbish in the stream that goes by the side of his house, arghh. Not to mention calling me all names under the sun, hes now trying to paint his house up a ladder (yes he is 70!!!!!) and using my drive, ive a good mind to say i want it in writing before he enters my property......
Can i get an ASBO out on an old man?? lol!
RANT OVER!!!!!
Im going to blummin asda, ill back into his car if i have to!!!! xDFD 1st January 2016
