Hi
The 'new reply emails' have stopped coming through to me. I've checked my subscriptions and I have 4 active topics. I've checked my anti spam folder but nothing in there....
Is it just me or is there a general issue with this?
Thanks

I've had this recently (last few days). The new post emails are coming through hours after the posts were made. I get none for a few hours, then I'm getting 20 to 30 emails all through at the same time (I've lost count of how many threads I'm subscribed to).
About a week ago, 123reg (my pop box is with them) had a problem with their mail server. I thought it may be another problem with them, but I've sent test emails to myself from another 3 accounts (not at 123reg) and they've come through straight away. It's only MSE thats delayed. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Was just about to start a thread about this!
Has happened to me the last couple of days! Get nothing, maybe the odd one here or there, then literally hundreds at once hours after they should have! :think:0 -
On a similar point, you are not supposed to receive more than 1 e-mail notification to a subscribed thread until you return to that thread, I have just received 6 notifications to a thread, timed at, 22-35, 22-53, 23-04, 23-10, 23-24, and 23-24, (that is not a typo, 2 came through with the same time stamp), and I had not gone back to that thread until I received all the e-mail notificationsDon`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0

I subscribe to threads very rarely indeed, partly as I reckon it must load up the servers having to send out several notifications of each post0

I've logged back into the site several times, so the notifications should re-start after that.... however, I'm still getting nothing....0

I've had about 120+ emails this morning in three batches informing me of loads of replies to my subscribed threads yesterday. How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Is there anyway to turn this option off by default?
I dont want email notifications each time i make a post, unless I choose to subscribe to it.
I've checked my Control Panel (twice) and can't find any such option.
Please help me!0 -
