Thank You Note to guests who didn't bring gifts

I've sent all my other guests postal thank yous but I think I will settle for sending the non card/gift givers an email thank you along with a few photos of me and them from the day to acknowledge that they came to share my special day.

I think your solution of sending an email thank you is entirely appropriate in the circumstances.

regarding the sentence I highlighted - there is an etiquette forum I have been on and the line a lot of people seem to take is that sending out an unsolicited gift list is the height of rudeness and their response to that is to not get anything at all. I am not saying it's correct, or even what happened here but just making you aware of one point of view.
