Buyer who hasn't given a full name?

I haven't come across this before -
A buyer has bought an item and paid for it using Paypal.
They've given a full address but only a first name and an initial, ie Sarah A.
The paypal invoice says Seller Protection Address confirmed.
Am I safe to send this item or must I have their surname? I've emailed them asking for it but no reply as yet.
Thanks for any advice that might put my mind at rest (or otherwise!)

Who says that ISN'T her full name
One important thing to remember is that when you get to the end of this sentence, you'll realise it's just my sig.0 -
Sometimes paypal has glitches and doesn't show the full name. Sometimes my name loses letters off the end. As long as you send to the address in Paypal you will be covered.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Just wanted to say that "confirmed" by Paypal doesn't always mean the address is correct, I check all the addresses now against Royal Mail address finder and just a couple of months ago had a "confirmed" one that had a house name completely missing. Royal mail came up with about 10 houses for that postcode, I contacted the buyer who said "doh, sorry about that" and gave me the house name, but I couldn't believe that the address was confirmed and more than that- judging by her feedback she was getting her items just fine*how?!*
OP in your situation I would post it to "Sarah A" as it states, can't see it being a problem to be honest.0 -

Your not wrong.
I check every address too, and am shocked how many are vague or plain wrong.
I email the buyers, and some are OK about it, but some resent me asking them to correct it. One buyer said "just post the f****** thing where your told to"
Last week i had a buyer in Northern Ireland with a postcode in England. He had no feedback AND a confirmed address. How can it be confirmed with the wrong postcode? Buyer was unresponsive so i refunded the money. He soon responded then - saying i should post it to the address/postcode stated, as its correct.
No way am i doing it and will risk a strike off ebay. Even if i correct the postcode myself - it will no-longer match the one on ebay and paypal.
I've never been to Northern Ireland, but i knew it was wrong as soon as i saw it. What sort of person does not know their OWN address?
I did not want a bidder from Northern Ireland, as it was a large item that needed a courier. But i was willing to post it via royal mail at my expense - as it was my fault for forgetting to make it clear in the listing. All he had to do was type in a few letters and numbers to put it right.0 -
