Awakened at 3:30 this morning by son and girlfriend ringing to get into locked house!!They weren't supposed to be coming home tonight or I would have left a door open......and of course it didn't occur to him to text or ring earlier!!!!!!! I always sleep wirh the phone by my bed at night and hubby leaves his in the kitchen so whose phone did he call?.........the one furthest away of course ensuring that we were both well and truly wakened!!!!!!!!!! Hubby stayed in the living room watching sport and I just tossed amd turned for what seemed like forever......Was tempted to hoover outside his door at 8 this morning but luckerly for him his girlfriend is a real sweetie pie so that saved him.......Rant Over!.............

Goulash is on stove ,facepack drying on face as I type, sheets in washing machine and I'm looking forward to going for a snooze after lunch!

    Have a great saturday everyone...........

ps. Loulou 2010 do you feel like sharing that post ,I could do with a:rotfl:

    Morning everyone

Bright, sunny, windy and warm here this morning. DH up and gone out, he has to collect some parts for our caravan to be repaired, not expecting to see him for a couple of hours, then we're going to visit Grandad and have fish & chips at the seaside, yummy!

Collected DS2 yesterday lunchtime from SIL's he'd enjoyed but was extremely tired.

Yesterday went to bank, building society then to SM to do shopping, had hoped for a cheaper week but still came to £100+, but did buy several items that were needed that are not "every week" essentials (ie, new heads for electric toothpaste £8, huge pack of toilet rolls £6, deodorant £2.65, DH deodorant on offer 2 for £4 - so looking at just these figures that little lot adds up to £20!!)

Been busy with the declutter, started on my stuff, emptied chest of drawers, overbed cupboard and anything on the floor of the wardrobe, now have 17 items listed on ebay, will have to wait and see how it goes! Will be attacking the hanging items, and 2 nasty corners that just seem to be "dumping grounds". Have one big bag ready for CS too. I will get the house decluttered!! Will do each room individually, need to be ruthless as DH and myself are hoarders! I can't believe how good this is making me feel, that I'm actually being productive and getting the house decluttered! Just taking it steady and doing a bit at a time, otherwise it becomes overwhelming. Have already looked at the flylady thread, so will be able to follow that once the major declutter is done, will need to adjust slightly as I work 2 long days and half a day, so will create my own version.

Have load in WM ready to go out on the line, so will endeavour to get that and a few bits I took off the line last night ironed. Washing basket is empty (at the moment!!)

Hoping to be able to get a bit of a lie-in and easier day tomorrow before everyone is back to school and work on Monday! Have a great weekend everyone, and stay safe in the sun!

Not much else to say really, keep safe and well everyone, hugs to those that need them.

    morning all!

    my weekend off:j

have tidied the house and mopped the floors, washing is on. Went to turn the vac on and sparks flew out of it:eek: dont want to have to buy a new one if I can help it - will get DH to have a look as he's very good with electrics.
Need to do a meal plan and a shopping list this morning and pop to the local pharmacy to get DH's painkillers as he's almost out.

Then I'm cooking a brunch for DH and DS before we take DS to work(overtime) and go on to Hereford to do some shopping.
We need a new telly - picture's playing up but it was a freebie telly and its done us well.

Mum's last weekend here before she returns to Devon - been here 3 weeks now and she's itching to get home to her little flat there again. Only 3 weeks then she's coming back - got the chance of a free trip with a friend. DH says we see more of her now than when she lived here;):D

Hope you all have a great weekend, take care x

Am not holding my breath and TBH getting sick of losing out all the time :o

    Morning all,

had a bit of a lay in bed this morning and read my book, then showered and washed my hair, put a wash on and made the bed. Just having tea and toast and will then get on.

DD still in bed she was supposed to be going for a sleepover last night, but the family were going on a day out today, and wanted me to collect her at 5.30 this morning  I dont think so !!! So we collected her last night after our walk. On our walk a deer came crashing through the woods right in front of us, and jumped about 6 foot in the air over a fallen tree, it had a dog hot on its heels and it easily out ran the dog, it was a beautiful thing to see.

Meatballs for dinner in front of Dr Who :T OH cooks on a saturday so night off for me :D

Need to hoover through and more washing, need to nip to the shop for yogurts and crisps.

Will go and see dad later on.

    Have good days all xxxx

    Morning everyone,

I am back from a lovely week in Devon where we have spent every day on the beach no matter what the weather was like and DD1, DD2 and I have been swimming in the sea every day, sometimes it was so cold when I got out that I did not stop shaking for about an hour!
The last few days were absolutely beautiful and we have all had a relaxing time.

Now I have a kitchen full of washing and no food in the fridge.
I washed 2 loads when I got back yesterday and they have dried overnight on the line, load 3 is now on but I don't seem to have made a dent in the washing pile.

OH has gone to see his mum who is recovering well from her operation and I will be off to the supermarket.

Tea tonight will probably be spaghetti bolognese.

That deer sounds magnificent Redruby, I wish that I had seen it.

    Have lovely days everyone.:)
