Do you now get a new load of junk mail?

Since turning 50 I am amazed at the new bunch of junk mail arriving!

A stairlift ad - I live in a flat!
Tenna lady pads - can be usefull but still!
Funeral plans
Cruises - I wish
Care homes
Wills
Release the equitity in your home - again I wish
Retirement plans
Chairs that help you stand up, zimmer frames, special cups plates etc.
Basically the full works

Wish someone would tell the government that I am now considered past it - maybe I could retire at 51 instead of 64.:rotfl:

You must have put your dob out there too much or signed up with SAGA or something - I have very little junk mail of this kind over the last 5 years!

I get loads of insurance junk mail, particularly around this time of year, when my insurances fall due. I think I must have filled in some kind of consumer opinion poll about five years ago - big mistake.

I would guess you have used one of the comparison web sites? Most will sell your details on to these marketing touts. Think yourself lucky you are not plagued with Viagra spam.

Does your Junk Mail have a 'block' facility? If it does and you use it they bar all mail from that address to you automatically. I'm down from 10 a day to 1 a week. Unfortunately, some are now using a jumble of letters both before and after the @, presumably to keep operating. I keep sweeping these as well.

I think OP is talking about snail junk mail, not e-mail. It doesn't have an easy block facility though MPS can help

You're right, apologies, though MPS has helped me in this respect as well.
