Texting service from PC - any suggestions?

I use O2 to text from my PC. There are 10 free texts a month then I pay for more. However - as I am not an O2 customer, I can't use the address book service.
Can anyone recomment a website where I can text (maybe some free, some paid) but also create my own address book, so I don't have to go into my mobile (with poor eyesight) search for the mobile no I want then input it.

I've looked for these also but they all seem to want lots of dosh for their services - the only time I could text was when I had a vodafone (scuse me whilst I spit!) dongle which allowed you to text - but you had to check for received messages quite laboriously each time you used it.
I think orange also allowed you to text via its site and your homepage but the provider I currently use doesn't.
Good luck in your search.0 -

Or Ctrl+(drag-and-drop)
Or protect the file from editing and just drag-and-drop0 -
I'm not sure I know where you're dropping them?0

Sign up to Skype Out, it's been a while since I used it, but it's user friendly and pretty cheap.0

Skype out is the pay service that lets you call real numbers at reduced rates, it's been a year or so since I used it, but it did let me text last time I used it.0 -

To drug-and-drop you must have two windows opened side by side: the browser and Word.0 -
