we have just ended our tennancy in our rented house ,but the landlord after inspecting. the house wants to keep 260 of our deposit for repairs we reported damp in the house over the months,and in feb on the usual inspection.no one was sent to investigate the damp so we carried on filling the cracks and painting the areas affected,but as we had the wrong shade magnolia paint they want to decorate the house and have said we need to pay

Did the LL have an inventory/condition report carried out at check-in, signed by you?
Did you report the damp in writing?
Is the deposit protected by a scheme?0 -
hi property in england short hold tennancy and deposit with scheme damp was reported over the 18 months on all inspections damp not there when moved in0
