And today it's become 1 click at 1p. Plus an additional 'captcha type' verification stage.

The Highstreet Web is no longer offering cashback on Topcashback!

The only daily click left now is Kelkoo but I find it rarely tracks for me.

The good news is that both Getpoundsback and I-Mutual have been adding loads of no spend cashback offers @ 100% rate which combined with the daily clicks that both sites have also @100% rate makes for much more productive daily visits than elsewhere. :)

Bit of bad news is that the 12p credit card click through has gone from I-Mutual - I guess more and more both became aware of it and got tracking tips following postings on I-Mutual forum thus it going down firstly from 25p to 12p and then to nil :(

Also both of these "site owners" ;) ( or in case of I-Mutual, admin with overall control of the site) provide excellent forum support 7 days a week where all issues or concerns get answered in the first instance. :T ;)

Oh vay! And rather odd too. An yes, I find Kelkoo on TCB to be rather erratic in tracking.

    Actually I have a theory.

The way things work is that there are search engines out there where genuine customers use them for genuine searches and actually buy something. So long as enough people actually buy something the retailers are happy to pay 10p for every click (or whatever) through the search engine delivers. The people who run the search engines will happily pay cashback websites to deliver additional click throughs because they'll get more 10ps. Until that is, the retailers start complaining about the declining 'quality of leads', because (let's face it) the kind of people who do clicks on a cashback site ain't gonna be buying anything. So the search engine boys have to think of ways to restrict the volume of clicks through cashback sites. It's a balancing act - just enough so they earn a bit of extra revenue - not too much otherwise the customers will complain.

TCB has close to a million members, Britain's biggest free cashback website, etc. I think they've become too big, and were delivering too much volume to HSW. Recent experience with 'free cashback- offers on TCB - there one day, gone the next - is (I think) further evidence of the fact that they're too big to do that kind of thing anymore.

If the merchants are given nothing but useless leads even if they are "genuine" (or created for the purpose) they will stop using the cashback sites and then everyone loses. You have given sufficient evidence to deter all retailers from using any cashback site.

IMHO you have done more harm than good to the people who rely on cashback to supplement a low income.

So now you are agreeing with me?

    Exactly right! :T
  • I like I imagine others have many facebook contacts who are interested in entering competitions, registering on internet sites etc etc albeit are not interested in Cashback Sites thus give me and I imagine others their contact details so that I and I guess others register them on internet sites and for competitions and are happy for me and I again I guess others to receive the cashback reward for doing so on their behalf. :p

I imagine the merchant would take a different view if the registrant did not continue to use their site after paying you the cashback.

One more fan of BLF here....:A:A

I see no point in just posting to attack him rather than being active otherwise.:(

He has helped a lot on this thread, including many newbies. Also the one whose posts get lots of thanks than anyone else's.

If anyone does not agree to his point, then there is no point in just arguing here.:mad::mad::mad:
  • Has anybody cashed out and been paid by fatcheese recently? I've cashed out via Bank Transfer 4 days ago and I still haven't been paid, they used to pay within 1 working day, but now it seems to have come to a standstill. Any help appreciated thanks.
