Feline Fayre

Options
Hi There

I'm not entirely sure whether I am posting in the right area, apologies if not. I have this week bought Feline Fayre as it says 60% Real Fish, but the cat won't touch it, I've tried taking it back to the shop but without a receipt (don't know where it is, I usually keep all my receipts when buying a new product) they won't take it back.

I've tried to email the manufacturer as they say 'Your cats will love it', clearly not the case here, but my email just keep getting bounced back. I've looked for a contact number but I can't find anything.

Can someone point me in the right direction?
If it wasn't for the mistakes I made in the past (and learned from), I wouldn't be who and where I am today. It doesn't matter if you've cocked up, what matters is that you put it right and apologise. x

Why would they take it back? You have no rights to return a product merely because your cats don't like it, caveat emptor I'm afraid. It'd be different if it was faulty food!
  • Not too sure about your rights etc but was it just one pouch/can that you bought, OP? If so I'd maybe just consider leaving it as it seems like a lot of hassle attempting to get a refund with no receipt?

Annoying that your cat won't eat it though! When we lived at my OH's mum's her cats refused to eat the Lidl 'own brand' food at all! :)

You wont be able to return it just because your cat doesn't like it!

My cats are fussy and if I try a new cat food I will buy one and see if they like it or give the food to someone else who has cats.

See if someone else has cats who will eat it.

I was referring to the unopened/ unused ones. They were on an offer 8 for £1 so I bought £10 worth as I was taken with the 60% Real Fish and it looked like a bargain to me. I'm stuck with lots! I've tried giving them to two cat owners I know and both of them have tried it and their cats won't eat it either - Typical. I think I'll just drop it off at the cat and dog shelter next time I'm up that way.

it is good, although my cat only likes the tuna and tuna and salmon, wont touch the chicken one or others, just because your cat wont eat it doesnt mean its not good

ive bought my cat hi life, which he used to like untill they changed the recipe and applaws and jwellbeloved which he just turned his nose up at

maybe try purely from pets at home ? my cat likes the tuna fish flavours but not the chicken
