Maxi ISA: which bank?

Hello,
I'm new to the board but have found info here very useful. I want to open a maxi ISA account mainly to trade shares online.
Which bank is recommended? I looked at comdirect.co.uk and it seems to be OK . Any experience with them?
Thanks!

Hi there,
Comdirect isn't a bank, it's a stockbroker...apart from that , yes, they're fine; I have an account with them & am reasonably happy ( couple of small niggles, nothing serious ). They pay £50 per person if an existing customer refers you; you can pm me if you like :-)
