Need to convert £2500 worth of Danish Kroner (in cash) in to Sterling

Hey all,
Quick question.
I now live in Denmark but I'm planning on popping back to the UK to do a spot of clothes shopping (flight leaving in 5 hours).
Problem is, I had a bit of an issue with my Danish bank account which led to me having to close it (even though it was substantially in credit!)
I've applied to open another account but, in the meantime, I'm holding all my savings in cash, at home... Ridiculous, I know!!!
Anyway, my new account isn't going to be open before I leave to go to the UK, later today, so I was planning on bringing some cash and getting it changed over the counter.
Can anyone suggest the best/cheapest place to do this? Most of the places I've seen require bank transfers and the like. Beureu de change's are an option but I'm pretty sure that their rates are usually a rip off!
Thanks!

All the Scandinavian countries have retained their respective currencies, so haven't taken on the Euro (yet).0

Try the TravelMoneyMax buyback feature on the main site. If you are coming into London, the best rates are available on collection deals from Bureaux de change there. All the Scandinavian countries have retained their respective currencies, so haven't taken on the Euro (yet).
For example, Best Foreign Exchange are offering £2312.14 for 20,000 Krone @ a rate of 8.6500
