Parking was very easy (as I suspected) so I was worrying for nothing. I did have to pay £10 though which was a bit annoying considering there was cheaper ones dotted around. But never mind, the show was amazing! :D

    Hello!
Anyone going to Take That at Manchester City Staidum
We are doing car parking at The Grange Commuity Centre in Beswick. Which is a 3min walk right to the stadium. We only charge £5.00 and most places are dearer!
We open at 3.30pm until an hour after the concert finishes.
The post code is M11 3TQ.
If you want more information please contact Julie on 07557345630

I use this car park for every City match and I would recommend it to any Take That fan looking for parking for the concerts. It is a very short walk to the stadium but is also the easiest for getting away afterwards.

The other car parks nearby are a pain to get off at the end as the main roads right next to the stadium are closed for a while to let people walk away. Because this car park is not on the main road you can get away very quickly. We parked here for the Sat 4th concert. We were back at the car for 10:45 and dropping friends off 25 miles away by 11:20. People on the official car parks will have still been queuing to get off at that time. Note I have also posted this recommendation on one of the TT forums.

If you are happy for me to PM you or email you I will send you a route and a link to google maps. Already done this for a couple of friends and it shows you exactly where to go. If that is ok I will send later as going out now.

Kajstring 24 you can not take anything into the stadium, no butties, crisps or juice. They will take it all off you. I wish I had found this site before yesterday I paid £20 for parking in a NCP car park, what a rip off. Mind you it was well organised and really easy to get out of. I did not mind because my friend bought me the ticket, the clever so and so sos did not advertise price and it was a pain to try and turn round once in. I have just recommended Julie to a friend so hope places left for tomorrow night.
Have a great night it is fantastic.

The rule is no food at all and only one bottle of water, size 500ml and unopened, per person. If you look on the TT forums you'll see reports of people who have even had bags of boiled sweets taken off them. Absolutely crazy and not the City stadium rules as you can take stuff into football matches there.

However the good news is that not all the stewards are as vigilant as others and if you stuff things in pockets or wherever you can then you will get at least some stuff in with you. We had to throw some stuff away but took a sandwich each in and a bottle of coke each and a big bag of crisps. Shouldn't say this but if you take something you are willing to throw away and act all bothered that you can't take it in, it becomes a bit of a decoy and they forget to check if you have anything else (but of course I didn't say this).

    To meki_j

You PM'd me asking for help with directions. I can't PM you back at the moment because I'm new here and it says I can only do one PM per hour.
UPDATE: PM now sent to you.

    To hhar72

You also PM'd me and I sent you one back with a link to a map/route. I can see that link has not worked so will send again but as above this site won't let me send another PM until another hour has passed (Great idea Mr Lewis NOT !) Will have to send it in the morning.

    Cheers
