Clean the car. I've seen a wasp come and remove a bug squished on the windscreen. Never seen anything else do that!

I had quite a few wasps last summer furtling among my cabbages picking off the caterpillars. :AIf I'm over the hill, where was the top?0 -

I have read more comments on here about peoples brassicas being devastated by cabbage white caterpillars than I have about them being saved by wasps eating them. Why is it that you get many suggestions to overcome caterpillars but I've never seen one that suggests you leave it to the wasps.Lotus-eater wrote: »They do, what's your point?0 -
You'd need an awful lot of wasps for it to work. I'm not sure gardening would stay fun.

I don't think I'm on here to defend the wasp as a cure all for cabbage white caterpillar attacks. I was merely replying to your post that wasps did no good. You could always try a small frog pond, had one in the greenhouse once, did the job for me.Never play with your Bellybutton your Bum could fall off.:rotfl:0
