I don't understand this glitch but who cares as long as we get to screw Tesco eh? Some stores have white full price items, some have reduced price items and some have the glitch. Most stores haven't noticed but some are closing off the aisles? Anyone have any idea how this can be?

I think some stores are noticing the error (or reading their damn emails) and over-riding the system to correct the prices in their own stores. In other words, they're not waiting for HO to fix this one. Other stores are choosing to just close down the aisle instead. Most stores haven't even noticed the issue. In one store I was in earlier, they had a white SEL up for a 3 pan set at the glitched reduced price, as well as a yellow (offer) SEL for the same 3 pan set showing the higher price with a saving of 20%. No idea how they managed to print out two different labels for the same barcoded product, as the system doesn't normally let you do that!

My local store was very good at catching this glitch. Nothing in their store went through at the glitched price. They'd also removed all the SELs on the affected products. They have an excellent Non-Foods manager there, though, and she's also really very nice, so in a way, I'm glad they caught it early.
In a rut? Can't get out? Don't know why?

I think it might be someone well known on here from the DTD thread.

I was thinking the same myself ;)

No problem with getting a few bits; but takes the mickey a touch doesn't it.

OH said that our local store reakoned they had lost thousands today on this. My thoughts - why didn't you close the ailse or remove the labels the same as other stores? or refuse to sell if you know there is a problem? very odd.

    How does the DTD work?
Managed to get my darling brother in law to watch the kids so taking a trip down! Just had a look at the gardening thread and few people said it is still working so fingers crossed.

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

And I was still able to buy at 9.30p.m!! Although in my store the manager was standing at the end of the aisle at 5.30p.m. instructing them what to do about it. Just proves what a load of crap staff Mr T employs.
