Another Tesco Glitch - Kitchen Knives

Hi, Just back from cradley and got individual knifes all at glitch prices, £108.50 worth for £21.70! Also got few baking tins, trays and placemats all at glitch prices too, i did check the denby range but that was full price as was the tefal fry pans, but am well happy with my stuff. Thanks OP

just been down to cradley heath. loads of knives, big stockpots, earthenware, cake tins and loads of other stuff all at 20%. between me and my friend we have saved about £100

just got back from my own shanigans and wanted to say a massive thanks to the OP and everyone else who posts these amazing tesco glitches, i love you all! I missed out on the gardening glitch last night as my Oh works away and wasn't in to keep an eye on the babies.

1st went to small branch wasn't really sure what to look for -realise now that everything was scanning at the white SEL prices-but these white SELs WERE THE REDUCED PRICES. Didn't get anything as didn't realise that these were the bargain prices- DUH!!!

Only realised this when after went to the big extra store and a lovely SA who was switching prices says some dimwit at HO sent white SELs for the 20% saving and should be the other way round. He was lovely and scanned numerous items for me.

Went home after got my own bits then took my sis (phone was dead and didn't want to take her initially in case glitch not working) and a manager stopped us and said the isle had to be blocked off there was a pricing error. My sis was gutted but never mind I've got loads to share with her.

I bought

2 black trail dinner sets £5.60 each

i spent about £80 but had £60 of gift cards left from DTD days so bargain-thanks again

oh the other thing might be worth doing is checking smaller stores where they may not have acted on price changes so sel's will be showing lower price than you are charged ??worth trying for DTD in the morning-I certianly will be popping out (although I'm meant to be keeping a low profile in this particualr store!! may take the kids for some cover !!!)

THanks very much, although have to ring up as they charged me £2 for wrapping paper when I only price checked it!!

Staff were refilling the shelves afterwards and had cages of stock to put back on the shelves, so ay still be worth a visit.

So glad to get all this stuff, makes a difference having decent quality cookware, and also got cheap placemats, coasters and tablecloths too!

Checkout lady said "ooy, you been bargain hunting then!" so I kinda played it down, not wanting to get rumbled!

It's an English glitch, definitly. Looks Tesco have different pricing systems for England and Scotland targeting the week spots of each nation separately;). Like the beer and the knifes.

Lol! yup we must have! they didnt seem bothered by it at all either did they? The woman on th etill didnt even know about it or the garden one yesterday! she thought it was great and was off to get some herself when she finished.

working in dunfermline store got dinner sets, japanese knife, frying pans, roasters, baking tins, pyrex wave ceramic dishes etc
