I tried a mixture of knives at gatwick tesco, but only the paring knife went through cheap at £2.10, would have loved the whole set but every other knife was not discounted, didnt try anything else apart from the 7 knives, but did get a gardening glitched stuff last night, suppose cant win em all... good luck to all that have got a bargain, my paring knife is excellent quality & very sharp

I'm so jealous! I drove 20 miles to try two tescos and my other one is 20 miles in the opposite direction and without guarantee of there being stock I'm reluctant to go out and leave DH with kids again incase my youngest wakes up (only 1yr and a mummy's girl!). I have been wanting a decent knife set for ages :(
Please remember to thank fellow MSE'rs

Worked in my local at 20.17pm. Got some individual knives and lots of baking tins, roasters etc. Bought the wrong knife block, managed to pick up one that scanned at 12.50 and looking on-line, it'sonly £10 now, so that's going back. Delighted overall though, thanks a million!!

went back to Hexham Extra store to get the last knife set (for my sister!) at 9.11pm, prices gone back up. Dont think anyone had bought a knife / pan set / tins since my earlier visit as it was fully stocked.

i remember seeing their offer a few months back and thinking 'oooh that looks good'. i read some online reviews though; people don't seem impressed with them.

Went through till point at 21:04, baking trays and knife set with white edge labels at reduced prices. Saucepans/Frying pans with yellow labels, going through at 20% prices. This was at Tesco Gabalfa (Cardiff). Went to Pengham Green earlier and could not see anything.

Woop woop, thanks OP. . .

I've been tempted myself a few times but I'm glad I got my knife block tonight so I'll be tempted no more :D
