Another Tesco Glitch - Kitchen Knives

We have been looking for new kitchen knives and saucepans, so what a result! Bought a mix of frying pans, saucepans and knives.
Paid just over £100 which should have been just over £500!

At 8.40 the glitch was till working in west london. Just bought approx £140 worth of kitchen knivesfor £34:T loving it!

So to recap - anyone in North Down, drive on to Belfast. You won't get any knife blocks in Knocknagoney as the shelf was cleared but you might be lucky in Connswater

MIL just got all the cheap prices in Craigavon
They are marked up at full price but scanning cheap

Many thanks OP, just got back from my local extra and they had loads left. Sadly their price checker wasn't working, otherwise I probably would have gone mad! I took the block and decided to leave it if I was wrong. I actually wanted the stainless steel pans, god knows how I'd get them home on the bus though. Was a bit worried when the guy at self-scan asked my how much they were, last time that happened they told me they couldn't sell me something

Now to work out what exactly is the difference between a chefs knife and a carving knife. I tell you one thing, it cut through the chorizo ring (yes from the DTD time) very nicely
