    The point is, this is not a sensible question. Like asking would you rather have the best i-Pad going, or be a Frenchman. They don't really relate.

    They do if you included the option of having Herpes ;o))) as who wants to be French or have an iPad ;o)))

    Which'd be the no education and no house option ... because then you can get benefits and have all day to go fishing.

    Education is a parent's responsibility, providing a house isn't.

    Often achieved by buying a house in a good catchment area, to give the kids a good education and a house to inherit.

    Education has little or no baring on a kids outcome. What does it their will to learn/work.

    A bright kid who cant be bothered will always lose out to a thick one who is willing.

    but any bright kid who has a 'good' education has more of a chance.

    and a thick one who has benefited from a good education will have qualifications that can open doors in later life.
