Was thinking of you as I heard the forecast this morning, definitely time to batten down anything that can move. Just make sure you keep you and yours safe.
Useless fact of the day: It is exactly a year ago today that the UK ground to a halt with the first of the snow.:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

Hey up the phrase gorgeous and sunny doesn't apply here! Rain, rain, rain and gales.
OK - meeting cancelled for later today - dd dentist at 2 - need to have a bit of a plan for the day might do a bit work on website (small vegetable seed numbers section) and see about getting a 'modified website' up and going to get on with that - and then when everythings up and rumbling along have a full ta dah
Bank to do, got a bit distracted trying to coax chickens into a wind free shed - they came, then went straight back out after they ate, lol
OK banks - erghish but OK - when the wtfc goes in the bank I'll have enough for the rent.

Hi Pippi
Good to hear you are ok, weather forecast for you looked scary.Just to let everyone know that three weeks since she had a stroke and Max is about 95% recovered. She's realised that if she shakes her head too vigorously she falls over so now has an occasional scratch and a sort of wriggle. I know how lucky we have been and so grateful for the support.
Oh and just by way of warning, there I am on Sunday night ,in bed, almost asleep when I hear bbbbbzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, look around , can't see anything but still hear bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Something flew across my face , I swiped at it and then hid under the bedding as far as possible. It didn't work. Monday morning I had 3 huges bites at 1" interval down the out side of my arm and one in that webby bit between your thumb and index finger.
They're not actually itchy but really painful. My neighbour who works for Boots saw them and gave suitable advice but also said that all htey have had this week is people coming in and exposing random bits of their anatomy and asking what should I do about this?.
It seems the mild weather is causing evil stingy things to die off later and they all seem to be intent on taking bites out of humanity before they go.
I've dug out the mozzy repellent for late night dog letting out................in November!0
