Stupid Ovi Maps Question...

OK, I should know better and I have googled it to no avail... So..

I have today been given a Nokia 5230 SatNav edition (car cradle etc etc).

I have downloaded OVI store and am in the process of downloading UK,NI,NL and FR maps to the Micro SD card in the phone...

Is the satnav 3D?

Does it cost anything to use?

If I go to FR or NL is it free?

Has anyone got a link to video/images of it working in a car?

    Google for "Ovi Maps", then select Images.
    Does it cost anything to use?

    If I go to FR or NL is it free?
    Free if you have the maps downloaded. See this thread for more information: Visiting USA, how to use the mobile?

    As above. This time search for "Nokia 5230 SatNav ".


    Don't forget to turn the data connection off if you don't need it.

    Seems to be set up....

    Now then.... how do I get the 3D view as currently I only get 2D...

    May I suggest you googling for 'ovi maps manual' or 'ovi maps user guide'?

    Yes, it can do that.

    Not if you've downloaded the maps so don't need to get them as you go "over the air"
