mates boxer van broke down today - plastic clutch pedal broke.
popped down to have a look at it tonight and just out of interest i tried to move the clutch arm - the part the clutch cable goes in to to.
Absolutely solid - unable to move it with both arms.
is this normal? should he be expecting another fault after fitting the clutch pedal?
Thanks

Is the pedal at the floor? That's what happens when a clutch cable snaps. If it's anything like the Xantia's setup, the Clutch pedal arm has a ratchet on it which is very weak. In answer to your question, you should be able to move the pedal up and down by hand.copier_guy wrote: »mates boxer van broke down today - plastic clutch pedal broke.
