It's at the Chester Retail Park (More commonly known as the Greyhound Park). About 15 minutes drive from Cheshire Oaks. No Focus DIY there although there is a Focus somewhere in Chester0

i managed to get a new indesit dishwasher for £120 yesterday. its fantastic, the only thing wrong was a break in the base. didnt notice it in store and you cant see it when its in my kitchen. it goes to the discount store even if its only the box damaged.
my mom got a toshiba laptop for £200 and my dad got a dvd recorder for £100. Lot less than the main store, and you still get the 12 month guarantee with it, the same as normal.0 -
Thanks for this, have never noticed this store before but was going to Tesco's there today so thought I'd pop in, got OH a Nikon L22 camera for £24, excellent price, (refurb, have to check boxes have all the accessories in).0

Look for the notice that says everything is customer returns or damaged unless stated as NEW.
That's the little print when you try taking something back.0 -
I bought a telly at the weekend and it was faulty when I got home. I took it back and they exchanged it for another one with no hassle, there was a slight price difference in my favour but they didn't ask for any extra.
Some of the tvs looked good as new, others had obvious scratches to the screen and wear to the power buttons.
This was Merry Hill shopping centre store.
I saw the £25 digital cameras and stupidly didn't pick one up, return visit methinks.0 -

Hi,
Does anyone know how the Auction works on a Saturday please?0 -
These places are like the primark/matalan of the electrical world.......sometimes you go in and they have bargains, somes they have sod all. Not worth a visit for something "in particular" but worth popping in if you're in the area.0

Just visited the above store.
Big signs on the door.
"The store will be closing down on 4th February 2012"
So no more Electrical Clearance Store in Chester. Reason for it going, according to a member of staff "overheads of running the Chester Clearance store is far greater than running a normal currys store"
The ones in Manchester Ancoates and Chesterfield are still going.
Went in today. Not much in unless you want fridge freezers and washing machines. They were even selling microwaves with the doors that won't open!!0 -
Hi i just thought you should know that Currys will close this shop on the 3rd of feb , do not know why .it is a shame as i bought several items from there , all the stock is going back to sit in a warehouse in Manchester and might be scraped or given to charity0
