Electrical Clearance Store

Just found a new store in Chester's retail park. It's called Electrical Clearance Store and it sells clearance and damaged items from Currys and PC World.

There stock changes weekly, but i managed to pick up a HP laptop 40% cheaper than in currys and their tvs are 30% cheaper than their currys stores! Going to get one next pay day.

Its been there since November apparently, anyone else been yet or know anything about their auctions i saw advertised?

I went in there just before Christmas !, lots of tatty boxes just waiting for people to look in !, but OH is not keen on poking around so we didnt really stay long.....I thought it would only be open for a few months just to get rid of old stock ....
I love going to the Greyhound Park TKMaxx, Dunelm Mill etc great for finding bargain...

Thanks, I'll have to make a point of popping in. I don't normally go to the retail park.

30% -40% cheaper then Currys might not actually be that much!

    Double check online first.

I have been. Once. It's not really that cheap as you can get better deals on things like toasters and kettles from Tesco / Asda. I wouldn't ever buy refurbished stock anyway (as i'm a bit cautious like that)! They had fridges and freezers with HUGE dents and chunks taken out of them but had only knocked a few quid off the RRP. Not worth it IMO! They also had a lot of 'cheap' makes that i'd never heard of.

If you want a local(ish) cheap appliance store try 'Discount Domestics' in sandycroft (near broughton) or there's also one in Rhosddu Wrexham. :)

My daughter went just before Xmas and bought a Samsung 12mp camera for £25 - it's brilliant.
