Whiteningbooth.com - order not received

I purchased an item off of the whiteningbooth.com, however have not received said item. Funds taken from account, and item stated as in stock - so according to info on site should have been processed same day.

I have sent a contact form as per site instructions and also an additional e-mail to an address I found for them. But no responses at all. Have even managed to track down a telephone number which is constantly busy (no longer in use??). The more I look into on the web, the more dodgy the site seems to be - cant find any genuine links, lots of links on forums etc by the same person.....

Is there any way in which I can pursue them to get my money back?

When did you place the order?

Would be more helpful for a better reply.
  • The order was placed on the 21st May, the order processed on the 23rd and money deducted from my account. As above, site stated item was in stock and orders placed before 2pm processed same day and dispatched by recorded delivery. So, should have been dispatched on the 23rd or 24th.

My concerns are more from the fact that I have not been able to get any reply at all from the, number constantly engaged etc. According to the site, I should contact them if my order is not received and I can be provided with a tracking number....which would be great if I could get a response or even get hold of anyone!

the address is serviced offices according to google street view - have you had any sort of dispatch notification or anything? looks to be a small, if not one man band kinda setup - in saying that, anyone stupid enough to completely copy the boots website header really isn't someone who I would wanna shop with...
  • Can't say I have ever been on the boots website, but having just looked they are pretty similar!

I have had nothing back from them at all to confirm dispatch, and no luck communicating with them either.

So back to original question, is there any way in which I can pursue them to get my money back, as it doesn't look like I will be getting anything for my money at this rate!

???? First I have heard of teeth whitening website ripoff's......but then I can't say as I often buy teeth whitening products, its only as I'm getting married in 2 months time!

Care to share the potential troubles I could be facing? At least then I can alert my bank....

I've just had a google - didn't take me long to realise these whitening teef things are along a similar vein to dead sea mud in pots currently doing the rounds in most shopping centers.

I would have a word with your bank - see if they can do a charge back on debit (some do for less than £100 it seems of late) so there is no harm in asking - additionally maybe consider a card cancellation ifs its something thats just gonna eat away at you (I know my other half would have caved in and cancelled the card by now).

There is never any shame in being cautious with this sort of thing..
