If your charger is capable of taking NiMh batteries, it should be OK, but it will take longer to charge the higher capacity battery to full charge.

Although the poundland ones on paper are three times less capacity of the others. Having got both sets I wouldn't class them as "Pathetic", they last just as long as the those with high capacity when using them in high drainage items such as mp3 speakers.

They're definately worth buying a couple of sets for a pound a go.

Surely that proves my point! The ones that you have bought from ebay may say that they have a capacity of 2700mAh on them but if the 800mAh ones from Poundland last just as long, the ebay ones obviously DO NOT have a real capacity of 2700mAh whatever they may be labelled.

I am not saying that everything on ebay is rubbish but there is a lot of fake stuff that is simply very bad value for money. If you want cheap rechargeable, both Aldi and Lidl regularly sell AA's with a capacity of at least 1900mAh @ four for £1.99. 7dayshop sell a very good microprocessor controlled charger for these types of batteries for £6.50 shown here.

Re batteries in Post 2.

I've used these batteries since they first came out, with no problems, also this company usually has a FREE POSTAGE week over the new year. HTH. Alan.
