Its about having the options there, the ipad doesn't have those options, so therefore is inferior. Not to mention viewing them on the android tablets would be a better experience due to them having better screens.

The android tablets have better screens? Bit of a generalisation there, eh?

Optional additional cost accessories (with limited functionality) rather than built in features?

My apologies it wasn't meant to be a generalisation, I didn't mean "all" android tablets I was referring to the ones mentioned within this thread, I shall be more careful in the future.

Out of the two you mentioned, I'd say the Xoom.

Asus Transformer is good and you can get the wifi for £379, so really reasonably priced. If you don't mind a smaller screen you can get the Samsung Galaxy tab 7" screen for £289, still a great tablet. If you don't mind waiting about a month or so the Galaxy tab is also going to be available in 8.9 and 10.1 inch versions soon and will be even thinner than the Ipad 2. A real competitor!! :D

I'm a huge Applw fan and can't recommend an iPad2 enough - they're fab (if you can get hold of one!). I love mine and everything is so easy to do. From catching up on Eastenders (BBC iPlayer) to playing Ice Hockey.
