Meh, Ireland is a dump these days.
Mired in debt, a sense of entitlement and a chronic lack of self-esteem resulting in a constant desire for approval from the Troika which baled out the country and now effectively runs it.
The Irish always were dimwits but now they're unhappy dimwits knowing that the country has been saddled with unbelievable debts that will take decades to repay.
Even the Guinness is owned by the Brits.
