I'm Irish - and call a Turnip a Turnip and a white Turnip a white Turnip.

As far as i was concerned Swede was another name for a turnip (either colour!)

I forgot a normal (yellow) turnip can be a Neep as well.

If you saw a swede, you'd definitely call it a turnip, even though it's a swede and, in England, a turnip is quite different.

I will probably be over before you.

Saw some chocolate Kimberleys and orange MiWadi yesterday as well. Tesco near us has an Irish section in the ethnic aisle.
