Open a browser, click to open a new tab, in the address bar, type 192.168.1.1 (mine is 192.168.0.1) and your router configuration page will show, though you need to enter the name and password, default is admin, the default password will either be admin or password0

Attenuation Down/Up(dB) 60.0 / 35.5
Bandwidth Down/Up(kbps) 2962 / 7320 -
dave, your speed is bob-on for your line attenuation. Without getting a shorter line (i.e. moving house) or getting fibre-based broadband, then you're looking pretty good

the only thig you may wish to try is:-
http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/socket.htm
and/or
http://www.dslzoneuk.net/socket.php
both walk you through the same process to try and improve, but any improvement will be minor, as I said you're pretty much bob-on anyway
this is probably the most accurate estimator of bb speed, pop in your line attenuation and you'll see for yourself

I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

Indeed I concur, there is not really any room for improvement, the theoretical speed for a 60db line being around 3200kbps.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
