Huge roaming bill

Hi

Is there any way to reduce a large roaming bill with orange, made the mistake of not turning roaming off in South Africa ?

    There's a chance you might get a reduction, but remember that Orange are going to have to pay the network you used over there. So it'll depend on what their charges were.

    I think that there needs to be a sticky made of this subject.... how many newbies come on here asking the same question?

    Maybe we could get them to change the sign up process for the site so that there are a set of simple rules (i.e. search first) that each have to be read individually and ticketed off as accepted before they can log onto the sign for the 1st time.

    Such faith.. Did you read the rules that are there before signing up ;) Im guessing no :rotfl:

    Your roaming is your responsibility, so its unlikely they will do anything but it couldn't hurt to ask.

    Seems like an expensive lesson to learn :)
