Idlesaver in chargeconditional spends also get sent in regular mailings from supermarkets that you have cards with
ie sainsburys, tesco and co-op
(card per family member gets more mailing so more conditional spends)
as to using in tesco's you can use more that 1 conditional spend coupon per shop so can add up to a decent saving if combined right.globetraveller wrote: »I have to say that I was mistaken here too, although I haven't actually used other store's coupons yet.
Another thing I cant get my head around- conditional spends. Are folks gettting these from other sources apart from till splits? If not, I don't really understand why there is such a fascination with using them in tescos. Have I missed out on something?0 -

So just to get it right ...say I have a Sains and a Coop money voucher I could use both in one transaction or would the transaction had be split?0 -

so not only do you save on your shopping by using a conditional spend... but you get extra back maybe from pricecheck
which if you used the conditional spend in say sainsburys... you would pay more ( as its more expensive ) and you wouldn't get your clubcard points ( which are better than nectar ) and you wouldn't be able to do a price check..
well thats how i see it :rotfl:
Thanks- so I haven't really missed anything:)weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -
Idlesaver in chargesame shop no spliting, use all in same shop
true rule is, if you say have a
£4off £30 co-op
£3off £40 sains
you'd have to spend combined total of £70 to get £7 off
not so good
BUT
many tescos don't know/follow this rule and if your luck like me
you'd only have to spend the £40 (highest value coupon) to use both vouchers so £7 off £40So just to get it right ...say I have a Sains and a Coop money voucher I could use both in one transaction or would the transaction had be split?0 -
