  • I have to say that this wombling is becoming a bit of an obsession!! But it pays off :D

My daughter wombled two receipts at Tesco the other day - one has come back with a £2.00 voucher :j

Went to Tesco today and wombled 3 receipts (well joint effort between my hubby, my daughter and myself). Two hadn't claimed their clubcard points so we claimed those - an additional 350 points :D Will wait and see if they produce any PG vouchers.

Loving it!!! So glad I found this page - you are all the best :rotfl:

Do the spam vouchers take a set amount off your bill or is it matched manually to the price you've paid please?

They are an '000' (Manual input) barcode so SA will have to type in the amount that they charged you. When they are on 2 for £2 for instance or £1.76 each just hope the SA inputs the £1.76 and doesn't spot the offer:o then you would end up £1.52 off the rest of your shop but A have now ended their offer :(

The spam is still on offer in Asda and showing if you look for it under Tesco. It isn't showing under Asda cos it says out of stock;)

Went to Morrisons for a shop last night, only had a few coupons, couple of rice fusions, a spam and a 30p wrights one. Went to a young lady on the checkout, get to paying, give the coupons over, then she says to me, hang on I will just need to check these are ok to use. I thought here we go again, everytime I go to Morrisons they always have to call over a supervisor. So I say, ok no problem. She calls a supervisor over, then she isn't sure either, so she says, I will just need to go and check, by this time, the queue is building up behind me, with the rolling eyes starting. She comes back and says, yes they are fine to use, so it then takes her about another 5 mins to put them through, as she wasn't sure what she was doing. I just wonder, why don't they train all their staff in what they are allowed to take and what they aren't allowed to take, I get this everytime I try and use coupons in Morrisons. I have much less bother when I go to the other supermarkets.

:D:D:D Wonder if it had anything to do with re-training staff after my recent successful complaint to Head Office :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Now what shall I spend my new Gift Card on?????? or shall I keep it until I see a particular Trout. I did tell her as I left the store that I would be getting one from Head Office and they should expect some retraining in the near future. :j:j:j

Just back from Asda and very unhappy! Went to register and handed over a coupon for free huggies, 1 for £1 off dove and 1 for free birdseye rice + also an APG voucher. The SA rolled her eyes and made it clear she was very unhappy. It literally took me 10 minutes at register to buy 8 items.

She didn't know or claimed not to know how to get the coupons to go through so had to call for someone and then she basically wrote a short story on my receipt that was the APG one I was like I don't even need that back "Well I still have to do it" right ok.. so finally I got to pay. Back at home I check my receipt and she charged me for the rice I had a voucher for! URGH MARLENE HAPPY TO HELP? I THINK NOT!

Its a good idea to watch the little monitor thingy (sorry dont know what its called) and make sure all the coupons come off as they scan. Frequently Ive found they are scanning the wrong bar code or in the case of a free item, the amount has to be put in.

Evening everyone. I may have found my first coupon but not sure it really counts. It is on a cash machine receipt that I got from an RBS machine outside Tesco. Colgate 360` toothbrush £1 Tesco coupon along the bottom. Valid til 11/07/11

Sorry if I have got it wrong but wasnt sure whether to put in blue

Tesco did this before, it was great, they were giving some really good money off coupons, and I remember making a special trip to the Tesco express and standing there, requesting account balances, so I could get one, and wombling ones found on the floor :D

they maybe offering more than the toothbrush one, worth having a look peeps.
