Idlesaver in chargeApologies if this has been posted but I picked up a freebie magazine at Sainsburys today called Sainsbury's everyday easy. It has a voucher (page 34) for 50p off Bombadier beer valid until the 31 August.I was off to conquer the world but I got distracted by something sparkly

Coupon and chat mixed threadJust back from Asda and very unhappy! Went to register and handed over a coupon for free huggies, 1 for £1 off dove and 1 for free birdseye rice + also an APG voucher. The SA rolled her eyes and made it clear she was very unhappy. It literally took me 10 minutes at register to buy 8 items.
She didn't know or claimed not to know how to get the coupons to go through so had to call for someone and then she basically wrote a short story on my receipt that was the APG one I was like I don't even need that back "Well I still have to do it" right ok.. so finally I got to pay. Back at home I check my receipt and she charged me for the rice I had a voucher for! URGH MARLENE HAPPY TO HELP? I THINK NOT!
Sorry you had such a trout .
I know its the luck of the draw, but following advice on here I really choose my SA very carefully - younger ones and even the boys are better than older ladies.
I shopped in Tesco and ASDA today and both ladies were super nice. I gave them both a huge smile and told them at the start I had quite a few mocs but both said - 'don't worry' and 'it makes no difference to me'. I do chat to them alot and try to charm them a bit, but I know I'm probably lucky as one day I'll get a trout myself - but I do find 'shopping' for the right person has served me well so far. Good luck with your next person!
It costs nothing to be nice does it, so I dont know why they can be so grumpy. I'm sure they are just jealous (thats what my Dad always said when someone was mean to me!).:TI've saved £518.70 with mocs and CS since 15 May (yes, I am keeping count!):T

Blimey - cash machines give out mocs?? I must have missed that as I have never heard of that. Wow, I might just take some cash out and put it back in the bank to try to get some! Wombling may turn into a new thing when I find myself picking up people's bank receipts :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
