Thanks for your email. I'm sorry my colleague asked you to unpack your bags to prove you had bought the items required to use your vouchers. I can understand how upsetting this would have been, especially as it made you feel like a criminal.
We want our customers to have a good shopping experience when they are in any of our store. We pride ourselves on providing excellent customer service, and great emphasis is placed on this during training.
I have contacted the Deputy Manager, A***, about your experience. He has advised me that the incident has been investigated, and further coaching will be given to ensure he is aware what he is able to do. Unfortunately, due to data protection, further information cannot be given.
We are grateful to you for taking the time to contact us as this helps us to continually improve our services. We look forward to seeing you in store soon.
I told them that I am moving over to tesco and asda....><

Superdrug tills wouldn't accept my moc's:(:(:(:(
Bought 4 and presented 4 moc's but till wouldn't accept even the first one. Girl on till knew what she was doing so she voided transaction and if she scanned one plenty till would take the moc but as soon as she scanned the second plenty and the second moc it beeped and said not allowed:eek::eek: Don't think she could have tried any harder for me but the Computer said NO :rotfl:Told her I'd leave it, already got about two years worth in the garage but 50p/pack was worth finding a bit more space for
Not a total waste of time, managed to get 2 Dove [10p], 5 Seabrooks [0p] and 10 packs of Branston beans [£1.57 BOGOF] in T next door so that takes me back to over 100 tins of beans so I feel a little less panicky about the pending hike in BB prices  No 1p bargains thoughLots of SEL's and empty shelves but as I have about 10 mse/pts'er around here not surprising really
:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS!
:p :rotfl:;)

Chat as separate threadNot a good result. I was thinking of complaining about the lack of stock in our Sainsburys store, a good offer appears and the shelves empty and stay empty but I dont think it would be worth the effort writing to them. I would just get the "tough, get over it" answer like you had :mad:Thanks for your email. Generally I have the same problem all the time about the lack of stock... there lost as we going to spend our hard earnt money somewhere else.0 -
This is rubbish. If its so hard to find receipt details from millions of others how come when you put a receipt into the Asda website you get a result almost immediatley. If its a rare occassion for it to take longer than 36 hours how came so many of us are waiting since last week and the weekend - most people are not getting results within 36 hours. Using the price check website is easy enough, no one has problems with it as such, its the waiting for over 36 hours that we have problems with.
Also the bit abut valid email addresses - if your email address was not valid how come you manged to email them and get a reply. Makes not sense!
I have copied and pasted the reply you got onto a word document to see if I get the exact same response - ie they are not even bothering to read emails of complaint, just sending out a stock response.
I still think this needs a moan to the watchdog website
Yep my thought exactly. you would of thought that Tesco being a company as big as it is would have better software to deal with it's price checker and to keep tabs on what is sold when. Obviously Asda are miles ahead of tesco on that front! Its not just the one receipt either there are 4 of them and my mum is waiting on 6 and has been for the last 2 weeks! Come on Tesco pull your finger out and sort your Price check out.
I have just sent a reply to T's CS saying Thank you for your reply but Asda don't have this problem and give you the results straight away. Perhaps you should ask them who wrote their price checker! If it's cheap I Like it. If its Free I love it!0 -

SA called over the supervisor before she scanned anything because I had 4 mocs, a beautycard and Student Discount CardShe said they don't scan just put them through as a coupon. Maybe that's the issue. As I say worked fine for me and as SD is Taken off before all other offers, saved £8.65 altogether.
Good luck for next time, think i'll go back again in a couple of days.:j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0
