At my Sainsburys, I have had bother with any coupons giving more than one on an item, ie the Fairy washing up liquid, the lenor. When I went last week, I went in, used a few coupons that I had two of, used one of each coupon, paid, then went and put the stuff in the car, then went back in and bought the same lot again, no probs all went through. I was just fed up of them having bother putting 2 through of the same coupon everytime I was in.
